Join us too! **Opportunity:** Accounting Analyst **Summary of Responsibilities:** Recording and analyzing accounting events and transactions, performing accounting reconciliations, assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and providing accounting guidance to other company departments. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze and execute accounting entries, system integrations, import of journal entries, etc.; * Advise department heads and the Executive Board on accounting, tax, cost, and litigation matters, contributing to the development of policies and operational tools across various areas; * Prepare, analyze, and submit ancillary obligations (SPED Contábil, SPED ECF, DCTF, IBGE, etc.); * Perform account reconciliations (in Excel), verify reported balances, identify and correct possible discrepancies, ensuring accuracy of figures presented in the company's financial statements; * Manage Fixed Assets control, entering acquisitions, disposals, and calculating depreciation in the system according to accounting standards and tax legislation; * Monitor tax proceedings, execute tax offsetting and validation of taxes, among other activities, via the websites of the Federal, State, and Municipal Revenue Offices; * Support and assist external audit and public agency inspection processes; * Keep up-to-date with applicable procedures and legislation related to the area and the company’s business; * Prepare reports and reconciliations in Excel. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Familiarity with the Rodopar system; * Advanced Excel skills; * Knowledge of Power BI.
