POSITION – CNC Lathe Operator II The CNC lathe operator is responsible for planning manufacturing stages and machining processes on CNC lathes. Ø Job Responsibilities: Operate CNC lathes; perform part machining; sharpen tools using a grinding wheel to maintain them in good working condition; perform CNC machining on parts made from ferrous and non-ferrous materials; prepare, adjust, and modify programs as needed to correct deficiencies and faults; supply raw material for processing; interpret production orders and technical drawings, and use measuring instruments; inspect raw material to verify material type and conduct visual and dimensional inspection using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications; verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and squares; create simple and complex programs using software and machine panel commands; operate medium-sized CNC lathes, visually monitoring the machining process to produce parts as specified. Prepare parts on the machine by securing them with appropriate fixtures, aligning and centering them using dial indicators and probes—or other required instruments; set the zero point on both the machine and the part via the control panel so that this point serves as the machine’s reference; check water level, oil level, lubricating oil level, air pressure, and air conditioning status of the machine through its sight gauges, and if levels are below the required minimum, replenish the deficient material to ensure proper machine operation; Ø Requirements: · Technical education in progress or completed; · Willingness to perform any required tasks and develop skills. ***Upon joining PSI HIDRÁULICA, the candidate will receive introductory training on standard operational procedures and work routines specific to their department and role.*** * Benefits: Transportation Allowance or Fuel Assistance / Meal Voucher (BRL 40.00 per day); * Location: Água Branca Neighborhood – Contagem / MG; * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, with a 1-hour and 12-minute break.
