Boiler Operator

Description

Operate and control the boiler operation and water treatment, working according to safety rules and procedures, in order to provide steam for production. Ensure maintenance of pipelines, valves, fittings, instruments and accessories by cleaning, lubricating and replacing damaged parts. Perform cleaning of utility areas, such as ash and firewood bark removal. Ensure organization of the utility area to maintain safety and proper appearance of the space. Ensure the factory's cooling level and concentration. Perform cleaning (physical and chemical) and maintenance of the cooling tower, including but not limited to water replacement and treatment, ensuring proper equipment operation. Check operation and participate in operations and maintenance of the water distribution system. Perform filter replacement, verify pressurization and water supply system functionality. Ensure cleanliness and proper operation of equipment (compressors, pumps and chillers) located in the utilities area. Perform daily checks on the operation of this equipment, including draining the compressor tank. Receive and conduct inspection of firewood deliveries used to fuel the boiler. Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment.
