Valmet in Belo Horizonte has this opportunity for you! **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Fabric preparation and cutting: Work with various types of fabrics and materials according to provided patterns and specifications. * Assembly of cut pieces: After fabric cutting, assemble the pieces and perform necessary sewing steps to transform them into filter elements. * Operation of machinery and equipment: Operate various types of industrial sewing machines and other related equipment—such as cutting machines—as required by the production line. It is essential to maintain equipment/machinery integrity, ensuring proper operational condition and readiness for use. When corrective maintenance is required, initiate a service order. * Verify production orders and priorities with your supervisor to plan production execution. * Perform setup on sewing machines to commence production. * Sew filter elements and accessories as specified in the production order and per supervisor instructions. * Ensure correct components are used for part production as specified in the production order. * Conduct self-inspection during the production process to ensure product quality. * Identify and segregate defective parts during production to avoid compromising final product quality. * Maintain integrity of equipment, materials, and tools used in production. * Keep the workplace clean and organized. * Comply with company-established safety regulations. * Understand Quality Management System procedures, instructions, and standards, applying them daily to ensure both company and service quality. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed or ongoing high school education (mandatory). * Experience with single-needle and double-needle machines. * Experience with 5-thread interlock machines and closure of monofilament and multifilament parts. * Experience with 3-needle overlock machines. * Knowledge of the entire straight-stitch sewing process, assisted by attachments. * Experience in 3-needle gusseting and the complete filter press process, including rubber sewing onto screens. * Knowledge of operating production machinery/equipment. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Location requirements: Reside in Vespasiano, Belo Horizonte (North, Pampulha, or Venda Nova regions), or cities in the northern corridor of Greater Belo Horizonte. **What We Offer** We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and suits individuals with a growth mindset who thrive in fast-paced, energetic settings.
