The Production Leader role has the primary mission of leading work teams, organizing data, defining production priorities, controlling production resources, managing production goals and results, analyzing reports, costs, and production order records in the system—aiming to ensure product quality. **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Control the internal flow of raw materials, accessories, and semi-finished products, verifying production volumes, delivery deadlines, and reporting to the Supervisor. * Participate in new product development together with the Product Development department. * Verify daily production orders with the PCP (Production Planning and Control) department and determine production priority; add pending production orders for completion, assigning cutting team tasks accordingly. * Create new patterns upon request from Coordination, submitting test pieces to the Quality department for approval. * Monitor deliveries of semi-finished and finished materials from third-party suppliers. * Maintain product quality parameters through process control and correction of any deviations. * Schedule and enforce the mechanical maintenance plan for area machinery. * Contribute to production process optimization by participating in problem diagnosis and decision-making regarding operations and mechanical maintenance. * Guide teams on identifying relevant raw materials and accessories as specified in production orders. * Guide teams on instructions and rules for performing activities. * Control the internal flow of raw materials and semi-finished product inventory, verifying production volumes and reporting to Coordination. * Assign and guide teams to clean machines and their work areas, as well as keep all work tools clean and organized. * Monitor team performance, detecting potential issues that may affect productivity and quality, and report them to Coordination. * Participate with Coordination in preparing employees’ vacation plans under your responsibility, as well as assessing occasional overtime needs to meet deadlines; track absences and tardiness, and conduct performance evaluations. * Encourage employees under your responsibility to express ideas aimed at improving processes and increasing productivity/resource efficiency. * Comply with company-established safety, hygiene, disciplinary, or other applicable regulations, following established policies and immediate supervisor guidance, resolving any related questions to ensure compliance with current regulations and serving as a behavioral example for other employees in your area. * Understand Valmet Fabrics’ mission, values, policies, and objectives, complying with pre-established internal norms, instructions, and procedures to guarantee quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection—and thereby contribute to people development, process optimization and digitalization, sustainable development, and improved service to internal and external customers. * Understand Quality Management System procedures, instructions, and standards, applying them daily to ensure company and service quality. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree * Proficiency in industrial sewing machines * Mastery of the entire sewing process * Availability to work rotating shifts * Location: Reside in Vespasiano, Belo Horizonte (North, Pampulha, or Venda Nova regions), or cities in the northern corridor of Greater Belo Horizonte **What We Offer** We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and suits individuals with a development mindset who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
