The Billing and Audit Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of billing and auditing processes, strategically analyzing medical claims, managing claim denial appeals, and overseeing internal and external audits. This professional will also play a key role in strengthening process quality and compliance, supporting the team and contributing to continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities and duties**
* Process billing for procedures performed under assistance programs, in accordance with contractual rules of health insurance providers.
* Analyze and validate invoice closing, ensuring accuracy when submitting invoices to health insurance providers.
* Guide the team on analysis of billing documents and protocols.
* Provide technical justification during health insurance provider claim audits and manage necessary follow-up actions.
* Analyze justified and unjustified claim denials, initiating appeals where applicable.
* Support the development and updating of indicators, flowcharts, and internal procedures.
* Respond to internal and external audits, managing incident and non-conformance resolutions.
* Comply with safety, quality, and applicable legislation related to activities.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in healthcare-related fields.
* Preferred: Postgraduate specialization in Healthcare Auditing.
* Mandatory professional experience in the healthcare sector.
* Preferred experience in home care services, internal/external audits, and knowledge of supplementary health legislation and sanitary surveillance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
