




Description: Professional responsible for carrying out supervision and continuous assessment of dam conditions, contributing to accident prevention, operational safety, and environmental and adjacent community protection. Responsibilities and duties * Conduct regular inspections of dams, evaluating physical, structural, and environmental conditions. * Monitor and record data on structural integrity, identifying deformations, cracks, leaks, and water levels. * Operate and maintain monitoring equipment such as piezometers, inclinometers, and pressure sensors. * Ensure calibration and effectiveness of monitoring systems used in dams. * Collect and analyze monitoring data to identify trends and potential stability-related issues. * Prepare detailed technical reports with conclusions, identified risks, and recommendations. * Conduct simulation exercises and training to ensure the effectiveness of emergency response plans. * Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and other teams involved in dam management and maintenance. * Ensure all operations comply with technical standards, current legislation, and environmental requirements. * Stay updated on best practices and innovations in dam monitoring.
