




We are seeking a professional with solid experience in technical coordination, engineering management, and multidisciplinary integration, capable of serving as a reference on large-scale construction projects—particularly in **hydropower** and **mining** developments. The **Engineering Coordinator** plays a strategic role in risk anticipation, technical quality assurance, cost control, and alignment among design, planning, and execution. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Technical and Project Coordination** * **Design Integration:** Manage and ensure integration across various engineering disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, etc.), essential for dam construction, powerhouses, spillways, and mining structures. * **Analysis and Validation:** Critically assess designs, specifications, and technical solutions to ensure feasibility and propose improvements optimizing execution, costs, and schedules. * **Document Management:** Organize, control, and distribute all technical documentation (drawings, calculation reports, procedures, as-built records), ensuring traceability and up-to-date versions. **2. Planning, Control, and Budgeting** * **Schedule Management:** Monitor physical progress across work fronts, identify deviations, and collaborate with planning teams to implement corrective actions. * **Budgetary Control (5D BIM):** Monitor engineering and construction costs to ensure the project remains within the approved budget. * **Physical-Financial Planning:** Ensure alignment between physical progress and financial resource release/consumption (S-Curve). * **Budget Preparation:** Support development of technical budgets for new phases, revisions, scope changes, or claims. **3. Team Management and Leadership** * **Technical Leadership:** Supervise and guide teams of engineers, designers, technicians, and consultants, fostering a high-performance environment. * **Conflict Resolution:** Address technical impediments and resolve conflicts among teams, suppliers, or clients. * **Integrated Communication:** Serve as the technical liaison point among contractors, clients (power plants or mining companies), designers, and regulatory agencies. **4. Quality and Compliance** * **Quality Control:** Ensure excellence standards are met at all stages—from dam foundation to electromechanical installation. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Guarantee full compliance of all scope elements with ABNT standards, ANEEL/ONS guidelines, and environmental and occupational safety legislation. * **Occupational Safety:** Support and supervise SSMA practices, ensuring a safe working environment on large-scale construction sites. **5. Contract and Supplier Management** * **Technical Negotiation:** Provide technical support during negotiations with suppliers of critical materials (concrete, steel, equipment) and specialized subcontractors. * **Materials Management:** Monitor material flow to prevent delays and ensure adequate availability for active work fronts. **Candidate Profile** * Dynamism and proactivity will be key differentiators. * Strong leadership, critical analysis, and clear communication skills. **Technical Requirements** * Proven experience coordinating infrastructure, energy, hydropower, and/or mining projects. * Proficiency in design integration, technical analysis, design review, and multidisciplinary integration. * Hands-on experience with planning, cost control, budgeting, and methodologies such as 5D BIM. * **Familiarity with the CCS (Candy) system** will be considered a significant advantage. **Preferred Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
