The Bar Manager oversees bar operations, creates cocktails, supervises the bartender team, and ensures beverage service quality and efficiency, with a focus on mixology and leadership.

The Bar Manager is responsible for full bar management, including cocktail creation, supervision of the bartender team, and ensuring beverage service quality and efficiency. This position requires advanced mixology skills, leadership ability, and a solid understanding of bar safety and hygiene practices. The Bar Manager must ensure the bar operates according to established standards and delivers a high-quality experience for customers.
Daily Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the preparation process of drinks and cocktails, as well as any related activities;
Ensure the integrity of raw materials and internally produced items;
Approve and finish drinks and cocktails before serving to customers;
Conduct inventory control and monthly stocktaking, or as needed;
Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS);
Plan equipment or ingredient orders according to demand;
Schedule monthly days off and vacations;
Plan and coordinate bar operational shifts for service and production;
Manage workload within legally permitted limits;
Resolve any issues or defects related to technical specifications;
Assume responsibility for hiring, managing, and training the bar team;
Supervise subordinates’ work, ensuring all preparations follow technical specifications and aesthetic standards;
Ensure internal rules are respected, promoting an internal doctrine within the department.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, as well as food safety and labor safety standards;
Ensure hygiene across all bar-related areas, such as cold rooms and storage areas;
Foster a cooperative and respectful environment and encourage teamwork among colleagues;
Evaluate team members collectively and individually to enable internal promotions.

Requirements
Completed high school or technical education in Gastronomy, Food and Beverage Management, or related fields;
Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
Competencies
Significant experience as a bartender or in a leadership role within a bar;
Advanced mixology skills and knowledge of beverage preparation techniques;
Experience in team leadership, inventory control, and bar management;
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
