Team coordination and development. · Manage and supervise all logistics operations of the meatpacking plant. · Plan strategies for route optimization, cost reduction, and improved operational efficiency. · Coordinate the logistics department team, ensuring process alignment and performance. · Monitor departmental performance indicators (logistics KPIs). · Ensure on-time delivery and pickup deadlines are met. · Supervise fleet management, including preventive and corrective maintenance. · Evaluate and implement continuous improvements in logistics processes. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. · Support senior management in strategic decision-making related to logistics. · Manage conflicts and operational incidents. · Define transportation and distribution strategies for the meatpacking plant. · Monitor logistics team performance. · Analyze fleet monitoring reports. · Track logistics efficiency indicators. · Participate in strategic meetings with senior management. · Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). · Approve route planning and logistics operations. · Monitor logistics operational costs. Coordinate process and technology improvements used in operations. .
