Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Work with a focus on safety, promoting safe practices, waste reduction, rework minimization, and quality assurance in deliverables; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on underground mining drilling equipment, including: * Jumbos DD321, Robolt DS311, Fandris DL421, Cabolt DS421, Normet Alpha 30 Shotcrete Machine, Normet Scamec 2000S Scaler, GETMAN S3120, and Epiroc Diamec PHC06 core drills; * Conduct failure analysis and technical diagnostics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic), including reading and interpreting technical drawings, replacing and repairing components, and using diagnostic software and tools; * Execute maintenance plans using measurement and testing instruments such as multimeters, megohmmeters, pressure gauges, and flowmeters, as well as conducting tests on equipment protection systems. * Provide technical support to leadership and the team, contributing to team professional development, knowledge sharing, and implementation of best practices to reduce failures; * Improve equipment reliability by enhancing protection against external failures (temperature, flow rate, pressure, etc.), preventing unplanned shutdowns; * Prepare technical reports, correctly complete and close work orders in the enterprise resource planning system (SAP), and provide technical support to PCM and Engineering departments; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed technical education in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering; * Technical training in maintenance of underground mining equipment. * Minimum 4 years of experience with underground mining equipment; * Diagnosis of electrical, electronic, and hydraulic failures; * Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings and diagrams; * Knowledge of and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment (metrology); **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to be themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
