Opportunities for mentoring and interdisciplinary collaboration. ### **Context and Environment** * Work within a multicultural geoscience and reservoir team. * Environment characterized by multifunctionality, proactivity, and solidarity across all Operational Geosciences, OBO, and Transversal teams. * Expectations of technical and behavioral excellence, with a high degree of technical autonomy. ### **Activities** **Main Responsibilities** The employee must perform activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with the One Maestro principles, aiming to protect people, the environment, assets, and the company's reputation. They must promote a safety culture across all geoscience activities and ensure effective coordination with the affiliate’s HSE function and the parent company’s Geoscience HSE Coordination (cf. CR EP GSR 002\). **Reservoir Studies, including construction, updating, history matching, and forecasting:** * Build, update, and maintain dynamic reservoir simulation models and other forecasting tools for assigned assets, ensuring technical consistency and traceability of assumptions. * Define and apply appropriate modeling approaches (within the affiliate’s established frameworks), including history-matching strategy, forecasting logic, sensitivity cases, and uncertainty envelopes. * Integrate the most recent subsurface understanding of assets into dynamic models, ensuring consistency with static interpretation and surface data. * Conduct complex history-matching and forecasting studies, analyze results, and translate them into clear technical insights and asset-focused recommendations. * Perform advanced reservoir studies as required: dynamic data integration, interpretation and synthesis, uncertainty analysis, integrated network modeling, production mechanism analysis, and surveillance support. * Identify data gaps and integration failures impacting model reliability and forecast robustness, formulating recommendations to the asset team for additional studies or data acquisition. * Ensure standardization of data management, storage, and indexing—covering utilized data, developed models, and tools. **Integration with the Asset Team:** * Serve as the primary senior reservoir engineering contributor for assigned assets, supporting GSR Leaders and multidisciplinary stakeholders with robust analyses and recommendations. * Provide reservoir forecasting tools and consolidated technical insights to support production forecasting, reserve evaluation, and reservoir management decisions at the asset level. * Monitor and integrate new subsurface data affecting reservoir understanding, ensuring timely updates to models and studies. * Support technical discussions and evaluation of options related to wells, depletion strategy, and development sequencing, clearly articulating uncertainties and sensitivities. * Offer informal mentoring and technical support to less experienced reservoir engineers. **Internal and External Interactions with the Affiliate:** (For operated assets) * Obtain dynamic data from operational entities and contracted parties responsible for agreed subsurface data acquisition and interpretation activities, as well as asset development activities (drilling/completion, production, flow assurance, etc.). * Whenever required by assets, contribute to aligned communication between TotalEnergies Brasil and partners regarding subsurface development, production, and reserve delivery topics. Lead subsurface technical discussions related to their specialty during such interactions. (For OBO assets) * Whenever required by assets, present technical study results that positively influence the operator’s performance in development, production, and ultimate recovery. Lead subsurface discussions related to their specialty during such meetings. * Promote knowledge sharing across assets and at the corporate level through voluntary contributions to lessons learned and best practices, benefiting other TotalEnergies Brasil assets and parent company entities. **Responsibilities:** * Deliver high-quality reservoir engineering studies and forecasting tools, supporting production forecasting, reserve evaluation, and reservoir management activities. * Ensure robustness and clarity in reservoir engineering recommendations, including transparent communication of uncertainties, assumptions, and sensitivities. * Contribute to asset decision-making within the affiliate’s governance and validation framework. ### **Candidate Profile** **Education:** * Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree or equivalent, specialized in Reservoir Engineering or another subsurface-related field. **Experience:** * Over 8 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering. * Strong subsurface culture, with operational knowledge (well preparation, drilling/completion, and monitoring), advanced practice in geological and reservoir modeling, uncertainty management, reservoir development, production forecasting, reserve evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. * Recognized interpersonal skills, with strong capability and interest in technical communication. * Proven track record of active collaboration within the scope of 2G&R and with other development and business disciplines. **Technical Competencies:** * Advanced proficiency and knowledge of all reservoir software used by TotalEnergies Brasil for interpretation and modeling. ### **Additional Information** **TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual development, and offers equal employment opportunities to all candidates.**
