Description
Act as a strategic liaison between the company's Controller/Finance departments and external accounting, ensuring the quality, consistency, and timeliness of financial, accounting, and tax-related information, while also supporting financial management and inventory control to contribute to operational efficiency and decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Serve as the direct interface between external accounting and the Finance/Controller departments;
Monitor, identify, and resolve pending accounting, tax, and financial matters;
Validate and address inconsistencies related to: invoices without withholding; incorrect accounting classifications; discrepancies between financial and tax information; other non-conformities identified in the processes;
Perform collection, verification, organization, and submission of accounting and financial documents, such as: bank statements; financial reports; invoices; various receipts;
Support and execute bank reconciliations and financial verifications;
Monitor and control inventory, ensuring alignment between physical and accounting balances;
Support the preparation, organization, and delivery of monthly closing reports;
Interact with internal departments including Finance, Billing, Procurement, and other involved departments;
Maintain contact with suppliers and, when necessary, customers for alignment and resolution of pending items;
Ensure compliance with established deadlines for fulfilling accounting requests;
Support standardization, review, and continuous improvement of internal processes;
Monitor operational routines related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice entry.
**Requirements:**
Completed high school education
Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, Financial Management, or related fields is considered a plus;
Prior experience in controller, finance, accounting, or auditing areas;
Experience with bank reconciliation, document verification, and financial closing routines;
Knowledge of tax and accounting processes, including invoices, withholdings, and accounting classifications;
Experience in inventory control and movement analysis is considered a plus;
Experience with Tasy and Asa systems is considered a plus;
Analytical ability and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
