




Job Summary: The AV Technical Leader technically coordinates audiovisual operations for recordings and broadcasts, ensuring preparation, supervision, and technical quality of productions. Rapid resolution of technical issues during live productions We are seeking an **AV Technical Leader** to coordinate technical operations for audiovisual recordings, live broadcasts, and events. This professional will be responsible for ensuring proper infrastructure preparation, supervising equipment operation, and guaranteeing technical production quality. The role involves operational leadership of the technical team, AV infrastructure management, and support in evolving technical processes and standards within the area. **Responsibilities:** **Technical Preparation and Configuration** * Plan and configure all required audiovisual infrastructure for recordings and live broadcasts. * Prepare equipment such as microphones, audio mixers, cameras, lighting, monitors, and other devices used in production. **Operational Coordination** * Lead and guide the technical team during setup, recordings, and live broadcasts. * Ensure operational workflows align with defined technical standards for each production. **Operation and Monitoring** * Continuously monitor and adjust audio and video levels during recording sessions or live broadcasts. * Perform audio source mixing, camera switching, and necessary technical adjustments to maintain production quality. **Technical Problem Resolution** * Quickly diagnose and resolve technical failures during live operations, minimizing impact on production. * Serve as the technical reference for the team during troubleshooting situations. **Equipment and Infrastructure Management** * Supervise the setup, teardown, organization, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment. * Ensure best practices for equipment usage, preservation, and storage. **Collaboration with Production Teams** * Work closely with directors, producers, and other production professionals to ensure technical and quality requirements are met. **Continuous Improvement and Processes** * Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and propose enhancements to the area’s technical processes. * Support the preparation of operational and technical reports for the IT and production management teams. **Requirements:** **Experience** * Prior experience in technical leadership, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment in professional environments or events. **Technical Knowledge** * Solid knowledge of: audio and video signal flow AV infrastructure and cabling operation of audio and video equipment * Proficiency in using software and hardware employed in audiovisual production. **Troubleshooting** * Strong ability to quickly and efficiently identify and resolve technical problems. **Organization and Operational Management** * Excellent organizational, planning, and detail-oriented skills. **Communication and Teamwork** * Strong communication skills for coordinating technical teams and interacting with production departments. **Availability** * Availability to work **outside regular business hours**, including events, recordings, and live broadcasts. **Languages** **English or Spanish** are considered advantageous for communicating with clients, international teams, or technical equipment support. ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Department:** Corporate
