Job Summary:
The Dispatcher is essential to ensuring smooth transportation operations, supporting drivers and serving as the central point of communication outside business hours.

**Mission**
The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring continuity and smoothness of transportation operations, providing real-time support to drivers and field teams, and acting as the company's central point of communication outside business hours.
**Activities performed at any time of day or night:**
* Real-time monitoring of Garage Out, Pick Up, and Drop Off (maximum priority).
* Updating service status in the system.
* Updating ongoing reservations with information received from drivers.
* Handling emergency calls and messages (WhatsApp / Phone / SMS).
* Communicating with drivers for service replanning or redirection.
* Requesting drivers to perform services according to reservations if any deviation is identified.
* Arranging driver transportation per company guidelines.
* Authorizing driver departure after confirming access to the service order.
* Supporting resolution of operational contingencies.
* Ensuring vehicle pre-departure checklist completion before leaving the garage.
* Monitoring vehicle return-to-garage checklist.
* Monitoring vehicle refueling per company guidelines.
* Reporting any non-conformities to the responsible supervisor.
* Recording and relaying shift observations in the dedicated Teams channel.
* Validating reservation times after vehicles return to the garage.
**Activities performed – outside business hours:**
Monitor commercial emails to identify emergency demands or pending items for the next business day.
* Make reservations for services scheduled to begin by morning of the next business day.
* Schedule vehicles and drivers.
* Communicate with drivers for service replanning or redirection.
**Experience**
* 1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operational support roles.
* Knowledge of major roads and routes in Rio de Janeiro.
* Experience with scheduling is a plus.
**Education/Technical Knowledge**
* Completed high school; a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
* **Advanced English.**
* Intermediate Office / Excel proficiency (essential for reporting and controls).
* Fleet tracking and monitoring systems.
* Customer service (to interact with passengers and client companies).
* Fleet management: controlling vehicle departure from and return to the garage.
* Trip monitoring: tracking driver movement in real time (via tracking apps), validating garage departure times, and service start/end and return-to-garage times.
* Scheduling control: organizing driver allocation according to reservation demand.
* Familiarity with mobility and tracking applications: using fleet management software, GPS, and rapid communication tools.
