Job Description: The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic will be a key professional on the team, responsible for ensuring the full operational readiness and safety of a wide range of machinery. This professional will perform diagnostics and repairs on electrical, refrigeration, and hydraulic mechanical systems, carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance on LIEBHERR and FUWA cranes, HYUNDAI and HYSTER forklifts, and Yellow Line equipment—including Volvo and Caterpillar machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting diagrams to identify and resolve faults is essential, as is the precise replacement of parts and components. The Mechanic must ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards (e.g., NBR 15965), manage and prioritize tasks under deadlines, dynamically handle multiple demands, apply critical thinking and urgency in problem-solving, maintain rigorous attention to detail at every stage, and accurately and systematically complete service reports and maintenance records. Responsibilities and Duties * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment. * Diagnose mechanical failures and defects across various systems. * Adjust and calibrate mechanical components. * Monitor machine operation to identify repair needs. * Prepare reports on maintenance activities performed. * Collaborate in equipment assembly and disassembly, as required. * Adhere to established safety regulations and operational procedures. * Maintain and update technical records and documentation.
