Join our offshore team as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on a PSV operating in Brazil. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, keeping all machinery in good running condition and assisting the Chief Engineer with daily technical duties. ### **Key responsibilities** * Assist in operating, monitoring and maintaining main and auxiliary engines and all engine room machinery * Carry out routine inspections, checks and maintenance as per planned maintenance system * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and auxiliary systems when required * Ensure safe engine room operations and compliance with company and regulatory standards * Keep engine room logs and records up to date * Support bunkering and fuel/lube oil transfers as instructed by Chief Engineer ### **Requirements** * Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2\) STCW license suitable for offshore/PSV operations * Previous experience as 2/E on offshore vessels, preferably PSVs * Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates and medical fitness * Good knowledge of engine room systems, PMS and troubleshooting * Ability to work safely in a multinational crew and follow company procedures * Good spoken and written English OSM Thome is a leading offshore and maritime services company operating in Brazil, formed through the partnership between OSM Maritime Group and Thome Group.
