Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing mold changes, supporting product and process development, and ensuring the maintenance and safety of injection molding machines. Opportunity for professional development **MOLD CHANGER** **Job Description:** Perform mold changes according to the production setup procedure. Support product and process development. Define and provide auxiliary production resources, such as fixtures and auxiliary tools. Ensure and maintain injection molding machines, as well as maintain robot grippers responsible for part removal. Verify injection machine safety per the daily onboard checklist. Support leadership in controlling cycle times and technical specification parameters. Inspect operating conditions of the overhead crane, steel cables, cable locks, mold locks, and mold clamping jaws on the machine. Complete the setup checklist. Perform machine shutdowns and mold lubrication at the end of the shift (weekends). Collaborate with leadership on injection machine startup at the beginning of the production shift. Send molds for maintenance when required. Notify responsible personnel via work order upon identifying water, air, or oil leaks from machines or molds.
