We have an opportunity for you: **Position: Fiber Optic Technician | Infrastructure** --------------------------------------------------- We are seeking a professional responsible for performing technical activities related to the deployment, maintenance, and support of fiber optic networks, ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of services provided. **Main Responsibilities:** * Install, splice, and repair optical fibers using specialized tools such as **cleaver, fusion splicer, and heat-shrink tubing**. * Conduct tests and measurements with **OTDR and Power Meter**, ensuring signal quality and identifying potential losses. * Interpret and apply fiber optic technical standards according to current regulations. * Assemble, organize, and maintain **CTO, DIO, splice closures, and splitters**. * Identify and correct optical losses, macrobends, breaks, and other network faults. * Perform structured cabling tasks. * Organize racks and patch panels, and properly label cables. * Install equipment on poles, towers, and technical rooms, following safety standards. * Apply knowledge of electricity, grounding, and electrical protection in technical environments. * Proactively identify and quickly resolve issues. * Communicate clearly with technical teams, NOC, and customers. * Demonstrate teamwork capability, especially during field operations. * Sense of urgency when addressing critical incidents. * Responsibility in handling equipment and performing external tasks. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Completed High School; * **Driver's License Category B**; * Basic knowledge of computer science and networking (TCP\-IP protocols, FTTH); * Prior experience in the field is desirable; * NR10 and NR35 certifications will be considered advantageous; \- Availability: Monday to Friday \- 1:12 PM to 11:00 PM **Benefits:** Meal/food allowance Day Off Transportation allowance Attendance bonus Special internet plan Hospital and dental health insurance Here, we value diversity and believe everyone has space to fly and grow with us — all applications are welcome.
