Capture or remove animals from the roadway or medians using specific equipment available in operational vehicles and the Animal Removal Truck, acting under direct supervision. Contain and extinguish small fire outbreaks under direct guidance, using dedicated firefighting equipment available in operational vehicles or in the water tanker truck. Inspect construction and service activities within the highway right-of-way using operational vehicles and the work manual available in patrol units, acting under direct supervision. Monitor oversized cargo transportation under direct supervision by operating the service vehicle and reviewing documentation related to oversized loads. Inspect the company’s right-of-way by patrolling designated highway sections, identifying ongoing constructions or general services, billboards or signs, requesting presentation of company-issued authorization for service or construction execution, approving them if no irregularities are found, or instructing responsible parties to remove or demolish unauthorized installations, escalating to the Supervisor when necessary to obtain additional support to complete the process. Conduct or assist in low-complexity operations such as assisting pedestrians at risk, responding to fallen construction signage on the highway, removing fallen road signs located in hazardous zones, taking appropriate actions. Verify that construction, improvement, and maintenance signage on the highway complies with company standards, following previously provided layout plans, reporting to superiors to halt work presenting irregularities or operational risks until the situation is resolved or new instructions are received from the OCC (Operational Control Center). Detect potential defects in signage (regulatory, informational, or warning signs) or on the roadway (potholes, damaged barriers, cleanliness, washing issues), take photos of the location, and submit suggestions or reports to the OCC, which will forward them to responsible departments for analysis and action. Propose improvements in signage, infrastructure, drainage, and roadway safety, forwarding them to the Supervisor for analysis and validation.
