Accounting Assistant

Description

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's and clients' accounting routines, ensuring accurate execution of journal entries, reconciliations, and document organization, thereby contributing to delivery quality and compliance with current legislation. This is a CLT position, on-site in Novo Hamburgo \- RS. **Main responsibilities:** Perform accounting entries in accordance with accounting principles and standards; Assist in reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts; Organize and verify accounting and tax documents; Support the preparation of trial balances and financial statements; Assist in the monthly accounting closing process; Provide support in client service to clarify operational questions; Maintain updated controls and files; Support compliance with ancillary obligations related to the accounting area. Requirements: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting Sciences; Basic knowledge of general accounting; Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Organization, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines. Advantages: Prior experience in an accounting firm; Knowledge of companies under Real Profit, Presumed Profit, and Simples Nacional tax regimes; Experience with Domínio or similar systems.
