Sort and register merchandise according to requests; Report merchandise shortages in the section; Perform sampling related to batches; Check for quality deviations (free samples, damages, etc.); Validate product quality (damages, items prohibited from commercial sale, and expiration dates); Conduct inventory checks and verify whether products are correctly allocated; Compare sorted products against issued orders; Validate item descriptions and quantities to be decanted; Scan via gray-box barcode reader; Decant items received from suppliers, verifying item quality and expiration dates, as well as possible damages; Restock items in an organized manner, respecting weight and height limits; Receive goods arriving via transportation (returns of goods received from transfers); Begin merchandise verification by entering appropriate movement codes; Sort merchandise that can be used; Issue return invoices for stores; Verify internal code, description, batch number, expiration date, quantity, reason, and physical integrity of packaging.
