Operates spot welding equipment (welding overlapping metal parts at small points by applying pressure and electric current) during the assembly of metal window and door frames. * Receives daily production instructions and, while performing assigned tasks, adheres to established productivity and quality targets. * Supplies the assembly cell with profiles required for each scheduled product, verifying their quality and conformity. * Operates the spot welding machine (welding overlapping metal parts at small points by applying pressure and electric current) to assemble components of doors and windows, ensuring welds comply with required quality standards—including specifications, appearance, and dimensional accuracy. * Performs maintenance or replacement of contact tips as needed. * Adjusts the pressure and amperage settings of the spot welding system according to the thickness of the sheet metal being processed. * Subsequently forwards products to subsequent stages of the production process, storing them for application of protective primer. * Proposes solutions to issues arising in the area, whether related to products or processes. * Trains newly assigned employees on spot welding operations. * Requests that scrap material be deposited into the designated container after completing profile inventory write-offs, weighing the scrap, and verifying the scale ticket; the verified scale ticket is then forwarded to the Production Planning and Control (PPC) department. * Organizes the workplace in accordance with technical, quality, safety, and environmental protection standards and procedures.
