




Job Summary: The Occupational Safety Engineer will be responsible for SSMA management, ensuring legal compliance, document preparation, and strengthening the safety culture. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership, people management, and assertive communication **Position: Occupational Safety Engineer** **Location:** Barcarena/PA **Employment Type:** CLT **Salary:** Negotiable + benefits **Working Hours:** 44 hours per week **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage the SSMA team under the contract * Ensure compliance with current legislation (NRs, eSocial, corporate standards, and client requirements) * Prepare, review, and implement legal and technical documents (PGR, APR, PT, procedures, action plans, etc.) * Conduct field inspections, behavioral audits, and risk analyses * Investigate accidents and incidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions * Deliver SSMA training programs * Support the development of operational leaders * Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports * Provide consultative support to strengthen the safety culture * Interface with operational teams and contract management * Interface with the client on SSMA-related matters * Implement and ensure adherence to internal and external procedures and processes * Participate in internal and external audits * Support mobilization for new contracts **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety * Active CREA registration (mandatory) * Proven experience in industrial environments (experience at Albrás preferred) * Solid knowledge of occupational safety legislation and Regulatory Standards (NRs) * Proficiency in preparing and managing SSMA legal documents * Experience conducting management system audits (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) * Knowledge of risk management and safe behavior tools * Intermediate/advanced Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint) * Willingness to work onsite in Barcarena/PA * Willingness to travel occasionally * Driver's license category B **Preferred Qualifications** * Courses in leadership and people management **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership and people management * Clear and assertive communication * Ability to positively influence teams and leaders * Organization and results orientation * Resilience and emotional balance in high-pressure environments **Benefits:** * Life insurance; * Annual bonus, up to two monthly salaries; * Internal recruitment program, aimed at valuing current team members! * Totalpass, supporting your physical and mental health; * Partnership with a travel discount company; * Partnership with Allya Discount Club: a platform offering special discounts for employees on undergraduate and postgraduate courses, language courses, technical courses, as well as discounts at various establishments including restaurants, pharmacies, cinemas, and many others;
