Analysis of variances and proposal of corrective actions **JOB SUMMARY:** Participate in the company's budgeting process, ensuring efficient preparation, monitoring, and management of accounts and cost centers, supporting strategic decisions and contributing to business profitability and efficiency. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop budgetary assumptions and monitor corporate budget execution. * Manage accounts and cost centers, ensuring compliance with internal policies. * Support special studies with the operations team to improve profitability. * Perform opportunity cost calculations and gap analysis against the budget. * Execute accounting reconciliations (DE/PARA) and participate in monthly closing. * Prepare various cost-related forecasts and provisions. * Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results and propose corrective actions. * Respond to operational management requests with accurate analyses and information. * Evaluate cost accounting entries and their variances. * Manage contracts regarding costs and execution timelines. * Control materials and services, ensuring proper recording and cancellation of invoices. * Process purchase requisitions and material requests. * Monitor CAPEX project financial execution, ensuring invoice entry according to schedule. **Required Technical Competencies:** * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields. * Experience: Prior experience in a mining operational environment is preferred. * Technical Knowledge: * Production planning tools and management systems. * Advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. **Required Behavioral Competencies:** * Analytical ability and data-driven decision making. * Clear and assertive communication. * Teamwork, flexibility, and sense of urgency. * Time management and organizational skills. * Willingness to reside in Currais Novos / RN.
