A Mining Engineering professional to manage extraction and mineral processing operations while ensuring environmental and safety compliance at quarries.

**Main Responsibilities and Technical Specifications:**
Mining Planning: Development of extraction projects, including bench design, drilling and blasting (explosives) planning to maximize production.
Operations Management: Supervision of heavy machinery, mineral processing operations (crushing and screening), and operational cost optimization.
Safety and Geotechnics: Monitoring of slope and embankment stability, as well as ensuring workplace safety at quarries (use of PPE, vibration control).
Licensing and Environmental Management: Environmental management, including mine closure, rehabilitation of degraded areas, and compliance with regulations issued by the National Mining Agency (ANM).
Quality Control: Technological characterization of minerals to align extracted material with end-market specifications.
**Qualifications and Profile:**
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, registered with CREA.
Competencies: Knowledge of rock mechanics, applied geology, mining software, and personnel management.
Work Environment: Work at aggregate, limestone, marble, or granite quarries, often under high-intensity production schedules.
