Come be part of it too! **Opportunity:** Occupational Safety Technician **Summary of activities:** Ensure D'GRANEL's facilities and equipment are inspected according to occupational safety regulations; monitor and enhance employee training, as well as supervise the use of PPE, complying with applicable safety regulations. **Responsibilities:** * Record work-related accidents, specifying time, severity, and other data in appropriate forms for internal control; * Propose preventive measures to D'GRANEL managers, as well as inform them of potential risk conditions, so actions can be taken to eliminate/minimize accidents; * Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, especially PPRA (Program for the Prevention of Environmental Risks) and PCMSO; * Inspect the company's production areas, checking for hazardous conditions and proper use of PPE by workers; * Periodically inspect all company fire extinguishers and request replacement or recharging from the responsible department when necessary; * Guide workers regarding existing risks in work areas; * Conduct safety training; * Promote the creation of informational safety notices and forward them to the responsible department for dissemination; * Investigate workplace accidents, identifying and assessing causes, and propose preventive measures; * Maintain continuous interaction with the CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), making full use of their observations, as well as supporting, training, and assisting them as required by NR-5; * Manage the control and distribution of PPE to employees; * Conduct site visits at client companies where D'Granel provides services, identifying potential risks and ensuring proper use of PPE.
