Job Summary:
An Automation Technician to execute and detail automation projects, develop PLC and SCADA application software, and prepare specifications and diagrams.

Description:
Required Qualification:
* Technical course in automation, electrical engineering, electronics, data processing, or related field.
Desirable Knowledge:
* Hardware knowledge of control systems (PLCs, DCS, remote data acquisition units, power supplies, UPSs, electrical panels)
* Proficiency in developing PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS, and/or SCADA application software;
* Preparation of equipment and instrument specifications, logic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and loop diagrams;
* Platform, field, and startup testing;
* Assisted operation;
* Training.
* Process control instrumentation knowledge;
* Electrical equipment knowledge;
* Industrial field network knowledge;
* Optical fiber networks and associated accessories knowledge;
* Basic knowledge of motor starters and drives (Soft Starters, Frequency Inverters), MCCs, substations, and electrical controls;
* Knowledge of NR-10;
* Professional registration required.
As an Automation Technician, you will:
* Execute automation projects jointly with engineering teams, organizing development and performing detailed design—from specification preparation through implementation at the client site.
* Prepare specifications, logic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, loop diagrams, P&I flowcharts, specifications, data sheets, and instrument lists;
* Develop PLC and/or SCADA application software; field network projects; PLC and electrical panel projects; DF analyses; cable lists; platform and field testing; commissioning; startup; assisted operation; training.
