Additionally, it leads responses to emergencies such as fires, hazardous material spills, and accidents, mobilizing appropriate resources to mitigate operational risks and protect workers and communities. Periodic inspections and audits of safety equipment are also part of the responsibilities, ensuring all operations comply with established regulations. Another essential activity is the planning and implementation of training for emergency brigades, aiming to prepare teams for crisis scenarios. It supervises the updating of emergency plans and conducts risk management to prevent incidents, adopting a proactive approach.
