




**SEEL Engineering**, a company with 32 years of experience in the infrastructure sector and its own Geotechnical Unit, specializes in serving major Brazilian companies and industries, particularly in the highway and railway concessions, mining, energy, and sanitation segments. Is seeking a qualified and committed **Quality Technician** to join its team on one of its construction sites. **Responsibilities:** Responsible for ensuring compliance of civil works services and materials with technical standards, project specifications, and quality procedures. Will perform process control (especially concrete pouring), record-keeping and evidence documentation (Data Book), release of construction stages, inspections, audits, and technical support to field teams. Conduct material receipt inspections (cement, aggregates, reinforcement steel, formwork, admixtures, precast elements). Verify compliance of reinforcement, formwork, inserts, concrete cover, dimensions, and plumb/level alignment prior to concrete pouring. Monitor execution of works according to the as-built drawings, descriptive memorandum, technical specifications, and standards (ABNT). Record non-conformities (NCs), corrective/preventive actions, and track their closure. Concrete Pouring Authorization. Check prerequisites for authorization (pre-concrete pouring checklist). Verify mix design, slump/consistency, concrete temperature, discharge time, batch number, and material expiry dates. Validate formwork and shoring, cleaning, form-release agents, reinforcement (diameter, gauge, tying, spacers, cover), embedded items, and penetrations. Issue formal Service Authorization (RDO/REL/Authorization Document) jointly with Engineering. Monitor concrete placement, compaction, finishing, and curing; collect test specimens, complete test forms, and dispatch them to the laboratory. Record photographic evidence and measurements; control Fck by age (7, 14, 28 days) and authorize subsequent stages per established criteria. Data Book (Quality Dossier) Structure, maintain, and deliver the project’s Data Book, containing: Table of contents and cover; project data and responsible parties. Projects, revisions, and approvals; descriptive memoranda and ARTs (Technical Responsibility Statements). Execution and inspection procedures/ITs. Material certificates, batch traceability, and test reports (aggregates, reinforcement steel, concrete, welding, watertightness, etc.). Inspection records, photographic reports, RDOs, checklists, and authorizations. Test specimen control, laboratory reports, strength curves, Fck, Slump. Quality Plan, requirements matrix, NC handling, and lessons learned. Ensure the Data Book remains updated, auditable, and delivered upon commissioning/completion. **Education:** Technical degree in Building Construction, Quality Technology, Civil Construction, or equivalent. (Desirable: Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s degree / Engineering in Civil Engineering). **Requirements:** Experience in civil construction projects with a focus on quality, including concrete pouring control and Data Book management. ABNT standards related to concrete, structures, execution, and testing. Ability to read engineering drawings (structural, architectural, installations). Concrete testing procedures (slump, test specimens, Fck), curing, formwork removal, and shoring. Material traceability and quality documentation. Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word), PDF reader, SGQ/ERP systems, checklist apps; basic Power BI is desirable. **Project Information:** Transportation provided via bus, departing from João Monlevade/MG to the site located in São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo/MG. Accommodation is located in João Monlevade/MG, approximately 35 km from the site. A field break/leave is scheduled every 90 days, granting the right to one weekend plus five (5) consecutive days off; travel time is excluded from this count.
