




Description: About the position:* Responsible for supervising and coordinating the perishables team, ensuring product quality, organization, and control. * Manage inventory control, goods receipt, storage, and display of perishable products, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. * Ensure customer satisfaction through maintenance of product quality and efficient service. Main responsibilities:* Supervise the perishables team members, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. * Control inventory by conducting periodic stock counts and monitoring product expiration dates. * Receive and inspect goods, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. * Organize product displays, maintaining a clean, organized, and attractive area for customers. * Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations. * Train and guide the team on good handling practices and customer service. * Prepare control and performance reports for the department. Mandatory requirements:* Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in the perishables area. * Knowledge of inventory control and team management. * Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations. * Leadership and teamwork skills. * Availability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Desirable requirements (advantage):* Technical course in food, logistics, or related fields. * Knowledge of inventory and sales management systems. * Prior experience in large supermarket chains or wholesale distributors. * Certification in good food handling practices.
