Learn more about PepsiCo: PepsiCoJobs Responsibilities: **The opportunity** Support the Quality Supervisor by managing microbiology laboratory activities and deliverables, ensuring daily outputs, reviewing procedures/documents/methodologies, and performing double-checks on critical forms and records in the area. **Your impact** * Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices. * Ensure compliance with the Quality and Food Safety Policy. * Support management of action plans / NCs (Non-Conformities). * Ensure execution of analysis plans through correct implementation of official microbiological methodologies and company-required monitoring of: finished product, raw materials, environmental monitoring, surface swabs, hand swabs, potable water, and water related to cleaning validation. * Perform routine activities according to instructions described in the Good Laboratory Practices Manual. * Report any deviations affecting food safety and safety to your manager. * Identify improvement opportunities through analysis of performance indicators and test results. * Train new technicians. * Support equipment calibration management. * Ensure supply of consumables through inventory management and procurement of various materials. Report to the Quality Supervisor any need for routine materials, equipment failures, lack of calibration, or any item not functioning properly that could impact analysis quality. Qualifications: **Who are we looking for?** * Technical or university degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, Biomedicine, or related fields. * Knowledge of Quality Management Systems – ISO 22000 and ISO/IEC 17025. * Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. * Experience in food microbiology laboratories.
