




Job Summary: Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients, determine appropriate food consistency, deliver therapies, and enhance speech-language pathology aspects including language, voice, fluency, articulation, and orofacial myofunctional systems. Professional development in teaching and research Position: SUNTOR Unit Evaluate patients upon admission within 24 business hours and determine food consistency, if feasible. Assess communication abilities, speech, voice, and orofacial musculature integrity. Provide speech-language pathology services to all patients with related needs according to internal scheduling. Deliver habilitation and rehabilitation therapies and enhance speech-language pathology aspects—including oral and written language, voice, fluency, articulation, speech, and orofacial, cervical, and swallowing myofunctional systems—where impairments exist. Participate in admission workshops and facilitate care transitions for patients and their families. Perform teaching, research, and administrative duties specific to the position. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Active professional registration with the Regional Council of Speech-Language Pathology; * Prior experience in this role; * Postgraduate training in hospital settings and/or Hospital Residency in this field is desirable.
