It has 460 beds, including 80 ICU beds, and 16 operating rooms. HMDCC specializes in urgent and emergency clinical, surgical, and stroke care, with referrals regulated by the Belo Horizonte Municipal Health Secretariat’s Central Admission Unit. We are also a reference for the SUS-BH Network and for Minas Gerais State in high-complexity care across the following specialties: internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and urology.
