Job Description You will be responsible for performing low- and medium-complexity preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities on surface mobile machinery and equipment, in accordance with maintenance schedules and requests. **Key responsibilities include:** * Supporting mechanical maintenance of equipment, as well as transportation and movement through mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic processes. * Following operational technical procedures and instructions. * Performing and overseeing material handling: lifting, loading, securing loads, moving and transporting materials and components, and unloading materials. * Performing and overseeing equipment operation tasks (e.g., forklifts and platforms) for lifting, moving, and transporting equipment. * Conducting inspections and performing corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment. * Performing tests and minor maneuvers on mobile equipment, operating them when qualified and authorized. * Ensuring all work is performed within the company’s defined safety standards and with zero accidents. * Performing tasks with a degree of autonomy, seeking guidance from more experienced professionals when necessary. * Guiding less-experienced professionals according to their needs to enable them to execute internal processes. * Referring to the manufacturer’s technical manual to ensure high-quality task execution. * Complying with Health, Safety and Operational Environment, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Integrity policies and procedures. Qualifications **The profile we seek for this position:** * Completed High School education plus a vocational training course; * NR 12 and NR 20 certifications; * Driver’s License Category B; * Driver’s License Category D preferred; * Technical Course in Mechanics or Electromechanics preferred.
