Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and optimization. **Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in Governador Valadares - MG.** **Who will you work with?** You will join the Engineering team at Wabtec Corporation’s Governador Valadares unit. One of our responsibilities is evaluating our equipment and projects, monitoring execution and lifecycle, and assessing delivery quality and product reliability. In this role, you will become familiar with our challenges and be invited to contribute creative and innovative solutions to demonstrate your potential. **How will you make a difference?** As a Mechanical Engineering Analyst, you will be invited—within the Engineering Department—to learn about our entire portfolio of solutions, interact directly with customers and suppliers, and collaborate with internal departments such as production and supply chain. More importantly, you will propose interventions to continuously optimize our processes. You will work alongside people from diverse areas, backgrounds, and experiences, offering you ample opportunity to both learn and teach a wide range of topics. **What do we want to know about you?** * Technical background in Mechanics or Electromechanics, or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering—or currently pursuing one; * Knowledge of mechanics, machining, fitting, and industrial assembly; * Experience with general manufacturing processes; * Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; * Knowledge of quality management processes; * Intermediate or advanced knowledge of English and Spanish; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to create document templates and reports; * Organization and proactivity; * Commitment to diversity and ability to work collaboratively. **What will your day-to-day look like?** You will directly oversee the development of company projects—from conception through manufacturing and assembly—serving as the liaison between departments to ensure quality assurance. Additionally, you will provide technical support to customer-facing departments, evaluating the service life of equipment delivered to customers and company assets deployed in field operations.
