Follow drawings, schematics, and technical specifications #### **About the position:** The mason plays a fundamental role in construction, renovation, and maintenance of projects, working with masonry, concrete, and other materials. It is essential to understand project aspects, perform layout markings, and recognize types of materials used. The mason must follow drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure construction quality and safety. If you possess physical agility, attention to detail, and initiative, this opportunity may be right for you! #### **Main responsibilities:** * Assess project characteristics by reviewing plans to guide selection of appropriate materials and optimal execution methods; * Mix cement, sand, water, and other materials in proper proportions to produce mortar for masonry and related tasks; * Lay bricks, tiles, and stones following specified drawings and shapes, bonding them with suitable mortar to construct walls, pillars, and other structural elements; * Build foundations using stones, bricks, or concrete to form bases for walls, fences, and similar structures; * Apply plaster (mortar made of lime, cement, and sand) to constructed structures, ensuring vertical alignment (plumb) and horizontal levelness (leveling) to prepare surfaces for finishing; * Lay tiles or similar materials to finish floors and walls; * Perform corrective maintenance on buildings, sidewalks, and similar structures; * Assemble and dismantle wooden or metallic scaffolding; * Carry out other tasks related to the position; * Serve customers according to the company's required service standards; * Comply with operational procedures required for the position. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Knowledge of masonry, concrete, and construction materials; * Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical specifications; * Physical and manual dexterity; * Attention to detail and quick reasoning; * Initiative and strong interpersonal skills; * Proven experience as a mason. #### **Desirable qualifications (advantage):** * Knowledge of scaffolding assembly and dismantling; * Experience in corrective maintenance of structures; * Occupational safety training; * Technical or vocational course in civil construction. #### **Benefits:** Meal/food allowance; Dental care; Telemedicine; Telepsychology; Pregnancy support; Nutritional coaching; Sports coaching; Pharmacy discounts; Life insurance; Funeral assistance; SESC partnership; Benefit card; Training and development through our corporate university — Uniffato; Career development; Trainee program; Outstanding employee program
