Perform compaction of soil, base, sub\-base, and various materials. Control compaction quality and uniformity. Adjust tire pressure according to the type of work. Inspect equipment before and after use. Perform cleaning and basic machine maintenance. Support earthwork and paving teams. Follow the mining company's technical and safety standards. Properly use mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE). Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Compactor Operator, Motor Grader Operator, or Excavator Operator may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
