Occupational Safety Technician

**Job Description / Responsibilities:** Issuance of the Work Accident Report (CAT). Managing the status of employees on leave from the National Social Security Institute (INSS). Developing emergency plans and inspection reports. Designing and implementing occupational safety training programs, including emergency procedures, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and safe work practices. Distribution of uniforms and PPE. Investigating work-related accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports, and proposing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations, staying updated on occupational safety legislation and best practices. Conducting periodic inspections of facilities and operational activities to identify hazards and unsafe conditions, proposing improvements and corrective measures. **Desired Education and Experience:** Knowledge of occupational safety legislation and regulations. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Completed technical education in Occupational Safety or related fields. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in occupational safety, with knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs) and occupational safety practices. Ability to conduct occupational safety training and capacity-building sessions for employees.
