**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Perform maintenance analysis of equipment and systems and propose subsequent actions and recommendations to improve the availability, reliability, and performance of Energisa’s generation assets;
* Provide consultative engineering support for maintenance activities on equipment and systems at hydraulic and solar power generation units;
* Systematically assess maintenance philosophies, procedures, and plans, seeking best practices and technological innovations to ensure updating, standardization, and uniformity across equipment;
* Analyze maintenance performance indicators for generation assets and propose solutions to improve performance;
* Develop and update the multi-year planning for generation assets;
* Provide consultative engineering support for developing annual shutdown planning for power plants;
* Conduct risk analysis, integrity assessment, and remaining life evaluation for critical generation assets’ equipment and systems;
* Provide consultative engineering support for special services and improvement projects on existing assets, covering technical feasibility analysis, technical specifications, proposal analysis and negotiation, project design, implementation, and commissioning;
* Develop continuous improvement initiatives and action plans focused on reducing failures, controlling *backlog*, and enhancing safety;
* Develop, approve, and train staff on procedures and work instructions;
* Provide technical support for technical specifications, material and equipment registration;
* Support planning and maintenance of special/critical tasks during routine or scheduled shutdowns;
* Supervise technical field activities upon request, including emergency work in high-complexity cases, acting as facilitator and, when necessary, as liaison with external companies involved in unplanned outages;
* Participate in evaluating generation projects from ANEEL auctions and perform technical *Due Diligence* for M&A of generation projects.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required;
* Active CREA registration required;
* Intermediate Office suite proficiency.
Minimum Required Knowledge:
* Solar and hydraulic power generation equipment and systems;
* Health and safety standards and applicable regulations;
* Project analysis, interpretation, and procedure development;
* Risk and reliability analysis of generation assets;
* Analysis, monitoring, and diagnostics of generation assets;
* Theory and practice of solar park operation;
* Failure analysis methodology, asset management, and reliability;
* Regulatory standards applicable to the electrical power system;
* Planning and maintenance management tools and indicators.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate studies related to the electricity sector are desirable.
