Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling fleet maintenance to ensure vehicle availability and safety, while managing costs and suppliers. Key Highlights: 1. Performance indicator analysis and process optimization. **Responsibilities** Plan, schedule, control, and monitor preventive and corrective fleet maintenance activities, ensuring vehicle availability, reliability, and safety. Manage maintenance costs, supplier and workshop relationships, performance indicator analysis, and provide technical support for asset lifecycle-related decisions. **Key Activities** * Develop, implement, and monitor the fleet's preventive maintenance plan, considering mileage-based, usage-hour-based, and calendar-based intervals. * Schedule maintenance shutdowns in coordination with operational departments to minimize impact on fleet availability. * Issue, track, and manage Service Orders (SOs) for services performed at internal or third-party workshops. * Prioritize corrective maintenance based on vehicle criticality and operational impact. * Monitor the maintenance schedule, reprogramming activities as needed to meet operational demands. * Control maintenance costs per vehicle, per kilometer traveled, per service type, and per supplier. * Track the department's budget, identify variances, and propose actions for cost optimization. * Analyze technical and economic feasibility between repair, component replacement, and fleet renewal. * Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers, workshops, and dealerships. * Audit invoices, quotations, and completed services to ensure compliance between delivered services and billed amounts. * Monitor and report key maintenance performance indicators, including cost per kilometer traveled, preventive vs. corrective maintenance ratio, fleet availability, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair). * Prepare managerial reports and periodic maintenance performance analyses. * Analyze recurring failures by vehicle, component, model, or operating condition, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain up-to-date maintenance histories for all vehicles in corporate systems. * Manage relationships with workshops, dealerships, and specialized suppliers, monitoring service quality. * Control parts and service warranties, engaging suppliers when necessary. * Ensure all maintenance interventions are executed according to manufacturer recommendations and applicable safety standards. * Participate in technical investigations of critical failures, recurring breakdowns, and maintenance-related accidents. * Keep vehicle technical documentation updated, including manuals, technical bulletins, and manufacturer specifications. * Support internal and external audits, inspections, and surveys related to fleet maintenance. * Contribute to continuous process improvement by proposing solutions that increase vehicle availability and reduce operational costs. **Qualifications** **Education and Professional Experience** * Completed or ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. **Professional Experience:** * Experience in fleet maintenance, workshop management, or maintenance planning and control. * Experience in scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance. * Experience managing suppliers, workshops, and maintenance contracts. * Experience analyzing performance indicators and controlling maintenance costs. **Requirements, Technical Qualifications, and Key Competencies\-Key** **Preferred Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Sismetrix, Logtrack, Prolog, FleetMax, or similar. * Advanced or intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and indicators). * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance planning and scheduling. * Familiarity with key maintenance indicators, such as fleet availability, cost per kilometer traveled, MTBF, and MTTR. * Knowledge of maintenance cost management and technical analysis of maintenance interventions. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Familiarity with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools. * Experience with predictive maintenance (oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, etc.). * Experience in tire management, including pressure control, wear monitoring, rotation, and retreading. * Knowledge of the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module. * Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) Category D or E. * Technical course in Diesel Mechanics, Mechatronics, Automotive Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields. * Knowledge of diesel engines, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic systems, and heavy-duty vehicle braking systems.
