* Participate in complex projects, contributing technical analysis, solution definition, data-driven decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
* Research, specify, design, and integrate hardware and software solutions for actuation, instrumentation, and monitoring of robotic mechanisms (sensors, actuators, drivers, communication, and interfaces).
* Evaluate and select software/hardware technologies for new robotic systems, conducting technical studies and cost-benefit analyses (trade-offs) and documenting recommendations.
* Collaborate in the development of conceptual and detailed designs for subsea hardware and control systems (architecture, schematics, diagrams, interfaces, and technical lists), ensuring requirements traceability.
* Perform engineering calculations and analyses for subsea hardware and control systems (electrical/electronic sizing, power consumption, protection schemes, performance, and reliability), documenting assumptions, methods, and results.
* Develop and maintain complete design packages, including technical documentation, bill of materials (BOM), drawings/diagrams, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
* Develop, review, and execute technical procedures for assembly, commissioning, testing, and operation, supporting bench and/or field execution where applicable.
* Support root cause analyses, including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), defining corrective and preventive actions and tracking effectiveness.
* Proactively pursue knowledge acquisition and self-development, soliciting feedback, participating in design reviews, and adopting best practices in documentation to advance technically.
* Conduct and support component and system testing (bench and/or integration), defining test methods, instrumentation, and acceptance criteria, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements, applicable standards, and quality standards.
