Conduct quotations and negotiations to achieve optimal cost-effectiveness. Description: Wega Marine is looking for a Technical Materials / MRO Buyer to join our team. This professional will be responsible for procuring and managing technical materials as well as Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies, directly supporting the company's operational activities with a focus on customer service, quality, and compliance with technical specifications. Responsibilities: * Manage the complete procurement process for technical materials and MRO—from supplier research and qualification through negotiation and purchase order issuance. * Develop and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring delivery performance, material quality, and technical compliance. * Analyze procurement needs in collaboration with technical and operational departments of clients, helping forecast demand and prevent stockouts. * Conduct quotations and negotiations to achieve optimal cost\-effectiveness, favorable commercial terms, and appropriate lead times. * Ensure purchased materials comply with technical specifications required by projects and operations. * Monitor material receipt and inspection, ensuring quality and adherence to technical requirements. * Maintain updated records and reports on procurement processes, providing data for analysis and continuous improvement. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or related fields. * Advanced skills in strategic negotiation, planning, and market analysis. * Knowledge of supplier management and procurement strategies. * Advanced Excel proficiency, plus experience using ERPs and other analytical tools. Desirable: * Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, or the maritime industry.
