APPRENTICE CLEANING ASSISTANT

Job Summary: Assist in cleaning sectors, restrooms, and windows, as well as organizing materials and inventory of cleaning products, ensuring maintenance of clean and organized areas. Maintenance of clean and organized areas. ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** Assist in cleaning general sectors through internal collection of common and recyclable waste, excluding biological waste requiring airborne and contact precautions; Assist in cleaning restrooms, windows, horizontal and vertical surfaces such as tables, countertops, walls, ceilings, curtains, blinds, and windows by sweeping and washing to maintain clean and organized areas; Assist in cleaning and refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and other products in their respective containers, replacing items as they run out; Refill and program the washing machine to keep cloths and mops clean; Organize boxes containing personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, as well as assist in completing employee records for the department; Organize the inventory of hygiene products and equipment, and assist in sorting and distributing materials required for cleaning activities; Organize the functional cart and/or basket according to the company's established standardization; Assist in verifying product identification labels and expiration dates in accordance with the company's established standards; Perform related tasks within one's competencies upon request from the immediate supervisor. ### **JOB REQUIREMENTS** MINIMUM EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in elementary school.
