The Venue Design Manager reports to FIFA27 Head of Infrastructure \& Technical Services and FIFA Senior Venue Design Manager, serving as a key member of the FIFA27 Operations team in close collaboration with the Venue Management team and other stakeholders. The FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ requires venue design of as a key central delivery to fully integrate and visually represent all operations, legacy information and complementary structures required for the tournament. The Venue Design Manager is responsible for leading and implementing the venue design from block planning through to final design across a cluster of official FIFA stadiums and venues. Role to transition into onsite Venue Overlay Manager during final Event. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** Raw Data Management: * Reception, validation and conversion of raw data into clean base CADs Application of FIFA Drawing Standards: * Drawing updates according to FIFA standards and templates (layers, colour codes, line styles, annotation, legends, layouts, naming conventions etc.) Drawing Updates: * Integration of operational content (space allocation, perimeters, flow data, capacities, space tags), legacy information (base infrastructure, legacy usage/annotation/signage) and complementary structures (fences, commodities, FF\&E layouts etc.) as required. Application of BIM 360 workflows: * Management and interaction of central database for drawing development, communication, change requests and publications. Implementation of Space Requirements: * Application of requirements according to FIFA Event Platform (EP) and venue limitations. Drawing Publications: * Delivery of drawings sets according to inspections and project timelines (site plans, levels, seating maps, pitch plans, catwalks, sections, detailed layouts etc.) Ongoing Collaboration: * Continuous collaboration and support for Venue Management and FIFA Functional Areas. * Collaborate with the Technical Services and Overlay teams, Functional Areas, stadium authorities, and other stakeholders to define, optimize and validate solutions, ensuring technical requirements are accurately reflected in designs and BoQs. * Degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning or a related field. * Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multi\-venue overlay projects, from design to delivery, preferably for major sporting events (e.g., FIFA, Olympic Games). * Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM 360, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office tools. * Strong technical knowledge in temporary infrastructure and spatial planning. * Excellent organisational, coordination, and communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with the ability to assess and implement effective solutions. * Excellent drawing skills and attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver to tight deadlines. * Knowledge of local construction regulations and permitting processes in host country (desirable). Right to work in Brazil. * Fluent in English (spoken and written) * Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written) * Ability to re\-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
