Active participation in organizing work and identifying issues The mission of the Fiber Optic Assistant is to provide direct support to the Fiber Optic Operator/Technician by performing tasks that aid in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks. This professional works collaboratively with the operator/technician to facilitate operations and ensure processes are carried out efficiently and safely. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in preparing and organizing materials and equipment required for tasks. * Help install fiber optic cables, including pulling cables through conduits, trays, and ducts. * Support splicing and termination activities under the operator/technician's supervision. * Assist in identifying issues within fiber optic networks using basic testing equipment. * Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities, performing simple tasks under guidance. * Assist in cleaning and organizing the work area upon task completion, ensuring a safe and orderly environment. * Assist with repairs at various customer sites. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * FTTH training course or proven experience * Driver's license category B * Punctual * Courteous * Proactive * Organized * Disciplined * Detail-oriented * Customer-service oriented
