Monitor vessel loading and unloading operations; identify potential accident hazards and record them in a spreadsheet for control purposes, reporting immediately to direct supervision and the Materials Department. Frequently communicate with direct supervision to report any incidents encountered during operations and request information or authorization to make decisions aimed at achieving optimal solutions. Distribute cargo daily according to the operational plan; implement the cargo plan provided by the vessel’s commander; monitor and observe cargo to be stored to ensure vessel safety. Receive information from supervision regarding vessel berthing, then monitor materials to be moved and request support, if necessary, to optimize vessel reloading. Record daily cargo movements in a specific report and forward it to the Materials Department. Support contingency actions in case of accidents, guided by the Occupational Safety area, removing spilled cargo and other materials from the work area. Execute, schedule, and provide technical guidance for tracking and sorting activities related to final destinations of materials and equipment, as well as cargo handling and lifting. Responsible for monitoring the sequence of loading and unloading of materials and equipment on vessels. Support cargo handling, lifting, and transportation activities; assist operations involving Cable Receiving and Transfer Equipment; handle, package, prepare, assemble, disassemble, and sling mooring lines. Tagging materials, accessories, and equipment for inclusion in the traceability system; comply with legislation and established technical standards in accordance with safety, environmental, and health regulations. Receive, collect, store, dispatch, and transport tools, materials, and equipment; retrieve required materials, equipment, and tools from warehouses and toolrooms according to existing routines. Guide crane operators using specific hand signals or radio communication for cargo movement, assessing sling conditions, mooring status, hook integrity, and latch closure.
