Inclusive culture that values diversity and individual contributions. **Important!** To make sure your application is considered, please submit it before the end of the day on (dd.mm.yyyy): 26\.01\.2026 We encourage candidates to apply as soon as possible. **What does the job involve?** ============================== Reports to the Production Supervisor, operates and monitors ICSS systems — production/process separation, utility systems, produced water system, water injection, fuel gas system, power generation, safety systems, and fire and gas detection systems. **What will my tasks be?** ========================== Within this position, your key tasks will be to: * Coordinate operational activities, such as oil production, gas compression, gas treatment and reinjection, water injection, and steam systems, to ensure safe, optimized, and stable energy processes and management. * Perform non-routine tasks as part of the production team (pigging, well testing, plant optimizations, chemical product testing, well startups). * Initiate and monitor process plant variables (pressure, level, temperature, flow), collaborating with other Equinor facilities to ensure process plant stability and optimization. * Operate the process plant in accordance with plant specifications and legal parameters for water discharge. * Maintain full control over ongoing work permits. Control and manage safety inhibition systems, as well as fire and gas (F\&G) systems. * Identify and report maintenance needs for process and safety systems in SAP. * Respond to emergencies as part of the emergency response team. * Work closely with the Systems Technician on all matters related to DCS/ICSS. **Here's what we expect from you:** =================================== At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: * Diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical engineering or equivalent — mandatory. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Production Control Room Operator on Oil & Gas platforms, or 5 years in refineries or continuous process plants. * Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese, and ability to understand technical documentation in English. * Knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP. Proficient in using office computer systems. * Ability to understand and manage risks. * Prior experience with combined cycle power generation, steam handling, gas compression, gas treatment and reinjection, and wet Christmas tree operations is an advantage. * Experience operating the Honeywell DCS system (FPSO Bacalhau) may be considered beneficial. * Values cooperation and open collaboration as essential ways of working.
