Responsible for laboratory equipment maintenance Responsible for carrying out activities related to laboratory operations to ensure its operational continuity and delivery of reliable results in accordance with the unit's general technical description of the service contract. **Responsibilities and Duties** We are seeking a professional for the position of **Laboratory Technician** to work offshore. To perform the following functions: Carrying out the following activities: * The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for performing physical and chemical analyses on all process plant samples, routine and non-routine samples, following standard methods using laboratory equipment such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume hood, Chanscope, spectrophotometer, titration, etc., applying wet chemistry techniques, and bearing overall responsibility for the maintenance and safekeeping of all installed laboratory equipment, including glassware and chemical standards, as well as reagent inventory at the storage area or within the laboratory building. * Operate, maintain, and coordinate calibration of laboratory equipment with onshore personnel, such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume hood, Chanscope, spectrophotometer, potentiometric titrator, pH meter, conductivity meter, particle counter, residual chlorine meter, and dissolved oxygen meters, whenever applicable. Requirements: * CRQ – Technical Level * FPSO experience \- We are looking for a professional to work as **Laboratory Technician** for an Offshore Position. To develop activities such as: * The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for carrying out physical and chemical analyses on all process plant samples, routine and non\-routine samples, following standard methods using laboratory equipment such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume cabinet, Chanscope, Spectrophotometer, titration, etc. and applying wet chemistry techniques, besides to have overall responsibility on all laboratory equipment installed maintenance and safekeeping, including the glassware and chemical standards, and reagents inventory at storage area or kept inside the laboratory building. * Operate, maintain, and coordinate laboratory equipment calibration with onshore personnel such as Karl Fischer, centrifuge, fume cabinet, Chanscope, spectrophotometer, potentiometric titrator, pH, conductivity, particle counter, residual chlorine meter and dissolved oxygen meters whenever applicable.
