Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for supervising and implementing Occupational Safety regulations, conducting inspections, delivering training, and maintaining up-to-date legal documentation to ensure a safe working environment. Every day presents an opportunity to do something new — and you can be part of it. **\#JoinVC** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise compliance with Occupational Safety regulations, as defined by the Ministry of Labor, aiming to minimize risks of fines and operational disruption; * Conduct planned inspections, perform environmental measurements, and operate specialized equipment to identify unsafe conditions and reduce risks; * Deliver Occupational Safety training and promote safety adherence to disseminate information and continuously develop employees' capabilities; * Maintain updated legal documentation for the Occupational Safety area, avoiding risks associated with fines and penalties from regulatory agencies; * Participate in developing the company’s emergency plan to prepare teams to respond to possible incidents; * Provide technical support during regular CIPA/CIPAMIN (Internal Accident Prevention Committee) meetings regarding accident and incident prevention activities; * Authorize critical work activities jointly with relevant departments to minimize accident and incident risks; * Participate in accident and incident investigation committees, proposing technical actions to prevent recurrence; * Assist responsible managers in conducting local Health and Occupational Safety Committees, monitoring performance indicators for the area; * Monitor schedules and improvements related to PPRA, PCMSO, LTCAT, PCA, PPR, Ergonomic Assessment Report, and Hazardousness Assessment Report, supporting implementation of programs developed by the Occupational Safety and Occupational Health coordination team; * Analyze regional occupational safety and health statistical data, monitoring audit and inspection action plans to guide work teams and promote improvement initiatives; * Develop and monitor infrastructure and behavioral safety projects, following technical criteria; * Supervise documentation and activities of contracted companies, ensuring compliance with current legislation; * Monitor periodic medical examinations and validity of ASOs (Occupational Health Certificates) for both internal and third-party employees; * Perform duties in accordance with predefined standards for safety, quality, and environmental management to support the company in achieving its goals. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Occupational Safety Technician certified and registered with the Ministry of Labor (MTE) * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency * Willingness to travel to VC units * Driver’s license Category B * Preferred: Current Occupational Safety legislation (labor, social security, and knowledge of Civil Procedure Code for expert testimony oversight); * Preferred: Risk Analysis and Accident Investigation techniques; * Preferred: Emergency Control Systems * Preferred: NR-35 Training — Work at Heights * Preferred: Social Media knowledge and\-Social **Additional Information** We value all forms of diversity and encourage you to learn more about this opportunity below.
